Can you take Veteran Valor Clips on an airplane?

You are not allowed to take ammunition on an airplane, but because this is not ammunition, just the brass of a bullet, you will most likely be able to take it. We've taken these bullet hat clips through airport security many times. Most of the time, the airport security has checked the hat clip to make sure what it was; however, when we told them that it was just a hat clip, they let us through. We suggest that if you do go through airport security with a bullet hat clip, take it off your hat and set it in a bin away from other items. That way it will be easy to identify. We do not recommend flying internationally with these hat clips.

What organization are we donating to?

We have talked with many veteran organizations, including the VA, wounded warrior project. Once we have enough proceeds we will donate to one of the organizations, or give directly to the veterans in need.
