My name is Thomas Goodman. As a boy, I spent countless hours listening to my grandfather Sergeant Wayne Goodman talk about World War II. He described his tales of adventure, war, and life threatening peril. He was wounded three times and lost permanent feeling in his wrist and hand.

Since his passing, I have thought about what I can do to repay the legacy of my grandfather. I’ve concluded that I want to help any and all remaining World War II veterans and other veterans. I know they are in desperate need of monetary assistance to help with medicine, health, and mobility. The idea came to me as I was learning to accurately shoot a rifle 1000 yards. To do this, required a lot of practice and I kept all of the bullet casings. I am now converting the used casings into hat clips. I am hoping that this will reignite the worldwide love and appreciation for these incredible heroes. As a result, I want to contribute a portion of the proceeds of this hat clip campaign to World War II veterans and other veterans.
